                         DIFFERENCES

   People always want to be the same with other people.In societies, people do not want different people and they humiliate others or behave them badly.They discriminate against different people.They insult to them.

   These behaviors in societies affect people badly.They particularly affect psychology of children more than adults.Children are not aware of many things.They affect very much at early ages and they learn something easily. They need to be far away from these bad things.

   I think being different is a privilege. It is not a bad thing.I always want not to be like other people.If you are like other people, you are not a private person.Even God creates people very differently.When we look at each other, we see how different we are.Our everything is different.Our face, body, ideas,voices, fingers and characteristics are different from each other.Our creation is different completely.

   People must always take proud of who they are.People must never see themselves as weak.Each person has different qualities and abilities.Therefore, they must show their own differencies to other people so that they are realized and they may reach to success.

   Accepting being different is more important.People who are tolerant and respectful to different people are more virtuous, valued and strong than other people.Other people may be seem as strong and they may see themselves as more great, but actually they are weak.They just disguise.They already know themselves. They are coward and they have not courage to show who they are actually.Therefore, nobody must fear showing themselves.It is a respectable thing.

              AT HOME WITH MAMMA

   In Italy, many men between the age of 18 and 34 are living with their family.This trend is mirrored across Europe.When we look at reasons of this situation,they change.There are a lot of reasons, but the main reason is economic.When boys become men, if they are not leaving home, they are probably dependent on their family.This may result from some reasons.Their schools may get longer and they may still go to schools.On the other hand, after they graduate from their schools, they may not be able to find a job immediately.Therefore, time passes and they have to live with their family because they need money.This is a problem which usually exists in many countries.

   Another reason is family affiliation.In many countries, family is important. The members of family are bound to each other.Their relationships are strong, so they do not leave each other easily.They see that something in the family is not working if a person of family leave home early.Moreover, according to many men, their home is comfortable.When they are at home, they can do everything which they want.They are not responsible for anything. Parents already fulfill their every need.They do not have to do anything.They do not have to pay for anything,cook or iron their clothes.They live in their home very comfortably.

   I think this situation is both good and bad.For instance, while boys are living with their family, they can help their family.They can earn their own money and they can help their family about some expenses.They can give some help to family income.This is good thing.As disadvantage, we can say that staying with family may make children lazy.Also, they can not do anything on their own.They always live as dependent on other people.They can not learn life.They can not struggle with difficulties which they meet.I do not decide whether it is good or bad.

   It is my favourite film.I like it very very much.I can watch it everyday again and again.It has an excellent fiction.I appreciate its scenarist because you can understand his intelligence while you are watching the film.There are extraordinary scenes in the film.To write these scenes is not an easy work.I can really not finish my appreciation to it however much I tell you.Actually,there are a lot of things which are told about it,but I can not find my words.

   It has 7 series.They all must be watched because the intelligence in the film is wonderful.People must see this.Many people think it is very terrifying and they are right.There are a lot of terrible scenes in the film.Many of them are bloody.Therefore,people can think it is disgusting,but I do not think so.The important thing is its fiction.These 7 series are related to each other and these contacts are made very well.I am a big fan of this film.

   There is a man called John.He is known as jigsaw.He lives a lot of bad events and he learns that he is cancer.Then,he try to commit suicide and he has an accident,but in spite of everything,he does not die.He understands life's value.He starts to think about life and he starts to play a game with people who are guilty or do something bad to teach them his own experiences.In these games,people die or live.It is up to them.If they obey his rules,they live,but if they do not obey,they die.Many people think it is terrible thing and he is a murderer because he decides whether people die or not.I do not think so.These people do something bad in their normal lives and he teach life's value to them.He gives some messages to them.If he wanted to kill them,he would do this directly.He is ill and there is nothing which he will lose.He gives them a chance to live.He has an aim and the only thing which he wants is to realize this.I think he is wonderful man.

                    JUST LIKE HEAVEN

    It is a dram and comedy film.I believe fate and this film shows that fate is real.I like it very much.I can always watch it.Really,it makes people think about fate.Maybe,we can say that it just becomes in films,but it can become in the real world.There is nothing which is impossible.I really believe this.

    In this film,Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo are playing in leading roles.They both are stars who I like.They fulfill their roles very well.Reese Witherspoon is a very nice woman and Mark Ruffalo is a very handsome man.He is very attractive,I think.I am sure all women like him.

    I want to tell you about the film a little bit.The story is very nice.There is a woman called Elizabeth Masterson.She is a doctor and she can not find time for anyhing except her job.She has an accident while she comes to meet with her sister.Meanwhile,an architect called David Abbot who just loses his wife rents Elizabeth's house.While he is living in this house,he starts to see Elizabeth.Elizabeth does not remember anything about who she is.The only thing which she knows is that the house belongs to her.David try to find who she is.While they do this together,they start to love each other.When they find who she is,they understand that fate actually brings together them deliberately.Moreover,Elizabeh is still in coma.

    In the end,David achieves to bring her back to life.There is a problem;when she comes back to life,she does not remember anything which is concerned with David.He feels very sad.Then,time passes and Elizabeth comes back to her house.She finds David on the roof and when their hands touch each other, she remembers everything.They kiss each other.It is really happy end.

                 THE FIFTY FIRST DATES

   This is one of my favourite films.It is a romantic film.It is about a love story.There are some funny stages,too.When I watched this film,I was affected by it.It was so emotional that I was crying while I was watching it.It is both touchy and entertaining.I also laughed very much.

   When we look at actors and actresses,we see the best ones.They are really good actors.I love them very much.In leading roles,there are Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.I like Adam Sandler,particularly.He is playing the roles which are given to play in every film very well.He is usually given leading roles and he is playing in romantic or comedy films.He shows in this film how good actor he is,too.

   In the film,Adam Sandler is a man called Henry and Drew Barrymore is a woman called Lucy.Henry is a veterinarian who looks after cold sea animates. He plans all his future.In times when he does not look after sea animals,he is busy with women.He does not want a relationship which lasts long because he has been planning to go to Alaska for examining the underwater lives of walruses for ten years.Just as he comes close to his dreams,his boat lives misfortune and he finds himself in a cafe.As soon as he sees Lucy who has breakfast alone,he falls in love with her.There is just one problem.Lucy has a neurologic sickness which is seen rarely.She spends a day and she spends other day in the same way.She does not remember anything.After she has an accident, she thinks she lives that date and she lives that date everyday.

   When I learned this part,I was shocked.I really was sad.It is a very bad situation.It is difficult for her parents.They live the same things with their daughter everyday.When Henry learns this,he is shocked but he does not give up her.He struggles with this situation.He loves her very much and he does the best.He prepares a video which tells her everything and her sickness for her and when they wakes up everyday,he makes her watch this video.She cries after she watches it everyday.It is very difficult thing.

                                              ACTIVITY UNLOVE

                   The gaining weight results from imbalance between energy intake and energy use.It causes shortening of life by leading to the formation of various diseases which are related to obesity.It is one of the most important health problems in the era.

             

            While environmental factors for the modern man direct people to excessive amount of food intake,they cause limitation of people's physical activity.Because of this reason,this structure leading to obesity in modern society is called 'obesogenic environment'.

           There are just three months between the development of operating systems which turn the computers into really enjoyable game sites and the start date of the first obesity research in United States.This is certainly not a coincidence.We are in a time when everything is done by sitting such as banking,food orders,video conversations,online games and so on.We have escalators,walking floors and even elavators in our houses.We get into the metro at the airport almost without touching the ground with our feet.

           All of these things cause lack of physical activity and because of this,we have the potential for weight gain.We must take care of this topic and  we must not keep pace with such an environment.

                                 DELETE FROM THE START

             Would you like to delete some memories in  your mind?How would it become?Would it be very good to get rid of something which you do not want to remember?You will not feel as if you have ever lived these things.Would you want to try this if there was such an opportunity?Think about it.

         At first,I think it sounds like something good.We people,usually remember bad things we have lived in our lives.Everybody has hard times in certain periods of their lives.Maybe,it would be good to not remember these hard times but I am not sure.We can not remove people or  places because we just have bad moments with them.Maybe,we also had beautiful moments with them and these moments were the most beautiful moments we have lived.Will we give up these beautiful moments in order to get rid of only bad things?From another aspect,we may have had today's position thanks to bad things which we lived.Maybe,if they did not become ,our lives could go to another direction.Our lives might change so I do not know about it.I think we must not do such things we are really not sure.Such decisions are radical and we can not go back if we regret.Think about it.

        I want to talk about a film which is called ''delete from the start''.Its original name is 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.Its leading artists are Jim Carrey(Joel Barish) and Kate Winslet(Clementine Kruczynski).I will tell you its topic.Joel Barish ,who get a pretty amazing news from his lover he is with for two years,try to remind their relationship to his lover who are involved in a technological experimentation.Barish gets angry with this event and he does the same thing,too.While the man's memory is deleted and when it comes to experienced beautiful things,he wants to stop intervention on him.He regrets.

        It is very good film.I liked it very much.If you watch it,you understand me easily.Watch and think about it.

                                    BEING A STUDENT AT METU
   
           Before I came here,METU,I had thought METU was a wonderful university.I used to want to earn METU excessively.Because it was said a lot of things about METU,I liked it.I thought a lot of things would change in my life when I earned METU.That was not only why I wanted to earn METU but it was also Ankara.I had never been in Ankara.I had not seen Ankara before but I liked it .I wondered it very much.It sounds very strange but it was.
           Now,I am at METU.I think METU is not like I have thought at first.For the time being,I do not like METU like the first thought.I say I wish I did not come here.Nothing is not like the thing I am waiting.Everything is very hard here.There are reasons for this.First,I did not like Ankara.It has very strange weather.Although it is hot during the day,it is too cold in the evening.Actually I like winter and I like snow but  I think it will be extremely here.Then, this city is far away from my city,Salihli.I miss my family very much.I am staying at dormitory but it is far away from everywhere.There are not the minibuses at sometimes when I go out the school.So,I have to walk everywhere I want to go.Actually,I regret that I chose this department because I feel as if this department does not belong to me.I am not happy.

                                           UNIVERSITY FOR ME

        University for me must be complete with everything.There are a lot of things for this.For istance,I think a campus must be in a university.The areas on the campus must be green.The buildings of the universitymay have a meaning.They can be aesthetic.
        For students,there must be laptops,proper dormitories,many laboratories,internet and a very good library.The students must be able to attain everything they want.The university must provide various facilities for students.They must make travel easy.The food costs must be low for students.The students must be provided with various scholarships.
         There must be academics who have time for students,who have fame around the world.The prelectors must be evaluated by students.The prelectors whose communication is bad must not give a lecture.
         The students must be given various projects.The university must work actively after the students graduate from there.
         Middle East Technical University have many of these characteristics.The areas are green but I am not liking the buildings.There are a lot of benefits for students but I think they must be developed a bit.I do not like some dormitories.Some of them are inadequate.All dormitories are not equal.The rooms in some of them are too narrow.There are not laboratories in some of them.The wardrobes and beds are old.
        I like the library because it is really very big.There are many books in every field.The transport is not good because I can not find any minibus every time.Additionally,everything is expensive for students.For the time being,the rest looks good.
